She obtained her PhD degree in Civil Engineering at University of Lisbon -Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal, 2017). Her main research interests focused on the characterization of cementitious materials with nanomaterials and concrete with recycled aggregates, studying the effects on their physical, mechanical, durability and environmental properties. After her PhD, she has been collaborating with Prof. Jorge de Brito and Prof. Inês Flores-Colen from CERIS in IST of Lisbon during March-December 2019. In that sense, several research studies were made and published.
